Advent

In Tui we have been discussing Advent and what it means for us. We got together with our lovely pukeko buddies and made stars with our intentions on the back as we get ready for Christmas and Jesus.

Our Fantastic Production

After 7 weeks of practicing we had an absolutely wonderful production, 3 Wise Men and a Baby. Tui were absolute stars! Huge thanks to Emma, Brenda, Sharyon, Katherine and Anna who came to produce our fantastic costumes and props.

Fantastic Science Kits

What a great initiative the Hutt Science kits have been. This week Tui got together to explore the 'Bee-Bots'. The beginning of coding and programming. Learning through fun is what we love.

Syndicate Art

This term we have cross grouped across the whole Junior team for Art sessions. By doing this we

mix with others from different classes while we are learning a technique. In Tui class Mrs Pennington taught us a tricky way to use symmetry to create an artwork using the paper medium.

Final Footsteps Dance

On Wednesday it was our last Footsteps dance tuition with Kate. We certainly proved we had enthusiasm, rhythm and some seriously cool dance moves.

Fun- filled Fridays

Our favourite day in Tui class is "Fun-Filled Fridays". Here are some of the things we got to do last Discovery time

Jumping Jack Flash Show

What a special treat we had after a hard day at Athletics. A travelling drama show preformed a hilarious show based loosely on a familiar fable.
